This is the fourth email that was sent to Vidanta on August 31, 2023.
Diana,
No one has shared any information with us. At all. Nothing.
If Hector is not the doctor that we saw on-site — who was absolutely useless — then I have confused people. Looking back through my notes, I do see now that Hector came to our room, and yes, he spoke to us. He understood our concerns but could not provide any more information. We have requested copies of the incident report in English, and have yet to receive that. We have requested video security footage, and have yet to receive that. We have requested the assailant’s info, and again, have yet to receive that. We were told on-site that information would be provided to us within a few days — by the chief concierge, Claudia. Looks like that was lies as well.
The information provided by Elizabeth is, “We offer our sincere apologies for feeling that way in relation to our employees. In Vidanta we do not make any kind of preference among our guests is why we have shared your comments with the areas involved, as well as reinforce with our teams to sensitize the staff customer service and phraseology to avoid misperceptions about discrimination. In addition, the hotel is not responsible for the actions of other guests. Also We would like to mention that Vidanta has different memberships that adapt to the needs and interests of our different types of members. General development information, as well as additional information, is provided in the confirmation letter you receive and is recapitulated by the Vidahost after Check In. We invite you to approach Member Services at your next visit to assist you with options for additional access.”
If we dissect that, as noted previously, the Vidahost did not provide any information. And now Elizabeth has stated that the hotel is not responsible for anything. Literally anything. Seems like the only thing Vidanta is responsible for is masking the truth and trying to separate us from our money. Again, who is your manager?
